Distance: Approximately 8km Duration: 6-7 hours Temperature: 20°C - 25°C Landscape: Lush rainforest, gradually transitioning to moorland Setting off from Moshi, we head to the Rongai Gate, the starting point of our trek. The trail winds through verdant rainforests, offering glimpses of diverse flora and fauna. As we ascend, the landscape shifts to moorland, and we reach the Simba Camp, surrounded by stunning views of the mountain.

Distance: Approximately 5km Duration: 3-4 hours Temperature: 15°C - 20°C Landscape: Moorland, rocky terrain Continuing our ascent, the path leads through moorland characterized by low vegetation. We journey to the Second Cave, traversing rocky terrain while reveling in the changing panoramas and the sense of elevation gained.

Moving steadily, we arrive at the Third Cave, where the landscape's stark beauty captivates and prepares us for further challenges ahead.

Distance: Approximately 5km Duration: 5-6 hours Temperature: 5°C - 10°C Landscape: Alpine desert, approaching the snow line Ascending toward Kibo Hut, the landscape transforms as we near the snow line. The air thins, offering stunning vistas while we prepare for the final push to the summit.

Distance: Approximately 16km (Summit and descent to Horombo Hut) Duration: 12-16 hours Temperature: Varies (ranging from below freezing to -5°C) Landscape: Glacial, rocky, summit snowfields The ultimate day. Starting at midnight, we begin the exhilarating ascent to Uhuru Peak, the summit of Kilimanjaro. Enduring challenging terrain and extreme temperatures, the reward is unparalleled the breathtaking sunrise from the Roof of Africa. Descending to Horombo Hut, a sense of accomplishment fuels our steps.
