Traverse a challenging yet rewarding stretch of 7 km through the alpine desert. The temperature fluctuates, offering a taste of the extremes Kilimanjaro has to offer. The journey concludes at Kikelewa Cave, where the rugged landscape sets the stage for a night under the star-lit African sky.

This challenging day covers 15 km, leading you through the starkly beautiful lunar desert to the iconic Kibo Hut. After a brief rest, commence the thrilling ascent to Uhuru Peak, the summit of Kilimanjaro. Descend to Horombo Hut, reveling in the accomplishment of reaching the roof of Africa.
