Commencing from Moshi or Arusha, the journey begins at the Machame gate. Trekking through vibrant rainforests, you cover approximately 11 km, experiencing a diverse ecosystem. The day's hike is characterized by moderate difficulty, with a gradual ascent that prepares you for the days ahead. The Machame camp, situated at an elevation of 3,000 meters, provides a serene setting to rest and acclimate to the altitude
