Distance: Approximately 112 kilometers, Duration: 2-3 hours drive to Londorossi gate, Terrain: From the gate, trek through lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa, Temperature: Ranges from 20°C to 30°C Description: Start the hike at Londorossi gate, navigating through dense rainforest teeming with diverse flora and fauna. Reach Mti Mkubwa, where the first campsite awaits.

Distance: Around 11 kilometers, Duration: 5-7 hours, Terrain: Gradual ascent, passing through heathland and moorland, Temperature: Between 10°C to 20°C Description: Ascend through the scenic landscape of heath and moorland, offering breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro's western slopes. Arrive at Shira 1 camp for overnight stay.
