Today, the expedition officially starts with a transfer to Londorossi gate, the entrance to the Northern Circuit Route. Hike through enchanting landscapes to reach Big Tree Camp, covering a distance of approximately 7 kilometers, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C

Accommodations: Big Tree (Mti Mkubwa) Campsite
Traverse from the Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) camp to Shira 1 camp, witnessing a shift in landscapes and vegetation. This day covers around 8 kilometers, reaching an altitude where temperatures can drop to 15°C to 20°C

Experience the diverse terrain as you ascend from Shira 1 camp to Lava Tower and onward to Moir Hut. Covering approximately 11 kilometers, this stretch involves varied temperatures, ranging from 10°C to 15°C

Navigate through the alpine desert, trekking from Moir Hut to Buffalo camp, covering a distance of about 12 kilometers. Embrace the unique landscape, with temperatures ranging from 5°C to 10°C

As you journey from Buffalo camp to Third Cave, covering around 8 kilometers, witness a transition in the landscape and temperature, with readings varying from 0°C to 5°C

Climb through the challenging terrains from Third Cave to School Hut, covering approximately 10 kilometers. Temperatures drop significantly, ranging from -5°C to 0°C, preparing you for the final ascent

The pinnacle of your adventure summiting Uhuru Peak. From School Hut to Uhuru Peak and then descending to Mweka camp, this challenging day covers about 21 kilometers. Experience freezing temperatures at the summit, with readings reaching -10°C
