Embark on your adventure by driving from Moshi to Londorossi gate. The trek begins through lush rainforests, eventually leading to the Big Tree Camp. Witness the transition in temperature from the gate's moderate climate to the cool embrace of the forest. The day covers approximately 8 km, taking around 4-5 hours.

Leaving the rainforest behind, today's journey unfolds through the Mti Mkubwa region, revealing the vast Shira Plateau. As you ascend, notice the shift in landscape to moorlands, with a distance of about 15 km, taking around 6-7 hours.

Continue across the Shira Plateau, marveling at the expansive vistas of the surrounding peaks. Today's trek covers around 10 km, lasting approximately 4-6 hours, as you reach the Shira 2 Camp situated at a higher altitude.
